Dværgmåge (Hydrocoloeus minutus) er primært udbredt i Europa og Asien og yngler endvidere i begrænset omfang i Nordamerika.
I Europa yngler størstedelen af dværgmåger i Rusland, Hviderusland og Finland.
Dværgmågen er i Danmark en yderst sjælden ynglefugl, men en forholdsvis almindelig trækgæst og ses fortrinsvis langs kysterne i træktiden.
Et mindre antal dværgmåger overvintrer i de danske havområder.
Levevis
I yngletiden kan man finde dværgmågen ved søer og moser samt på sumpede strandenge med tuer og den yngler ofte i forbindelse med hættemåge-, fjordterne- eller sortternekolonier.

Dværgmågen lever af insekter og småfisk og synes især at være afhængig af store forekomster af myg eller dansemyg.
